Goodman & Associates Consulting LLC is a minority women owned business founded in January 2013. G & A Consulting was born out of necessity to fill the void for culturally competent evidence-based solutions to improve health in minority, medically underserved and vulnerable populations. This multidisciplinary team of researchers and practitioners offer a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience to support community based public health initiatives.
Although the company is new Dr. Goodman has extensive consulting experience; she has worked with Researchers at:
- Center for Community Based Research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute
- Harvard School of Public Health
- Duke University
- Rutgers University
Members of the Goodman & Associates team have consulted for community based public health initiatives with several community based organizations including:
- The Latino Health Initiative of Suffolk County
- The Long Island Think Tank for Black Progress, Inc.
- Suffolk County Minority Health Action Coalition
Members of the Goodman & Associates team have designed and conducted research related trainings and workshops for:
- Research Assistants and Data Collectors to engage research participants in culturally competent ways to ensure quality data collection
- Community Members interested in being equal partners with academics in the research process
- Health professions and academic faculty on community engaged research
